COVID19 has affected us all, however we are only interested in looking forward. Finding the positive in every situation is at the heart of everything we do, so why change now?!
It’s hard to avoid the news regarding COVID-19 at the moment and first and foremost, we would like to reassure you that the health and safety of our community and our team is of the highest importance to us.
Loch Morlich Running Festival:
Our Loch Morlich Running Festival has been a popular event for a number of years now and we love welcoming runners from all over Scotland to take part in this unique event. Our next Loch Morlich Running Festival is due to take place on Saturday 22nd August. First of all, we would like to sincerely apologise for the delay in updating you in regards to this event. The reason is that, having followed the ever changing government guidelines very closely over the past few weeks, there is still a possibility we will be able to run this event. Due to COVID19, we have received a low number of entires anyway and we are considering running the event for those who have already entered. We will of course be putting strict measures in place to ensure the event is in line with all government guidelines and due to the fantastic location we have for the event, social distancing will not be an issue. We are considering various options and measures we can take in order to run this event safely and we will be making a final decision on 1st August at 6pm. We would like to thank you for your patience and understanding during these testing times and look forward to providing you with more unforgettable fitness experiences in unforgettable locations, whenever that may be! In the meantime, stay safe, stay positive and keep training hard!
We have been really excited about our first SAS Challenge which is due to take place in October! As you will have seen on our social media, we were delighted to announce that SAS: Who Dares Wins star and Ex-Special Forces Operator Jay Morton will be leading the challenge with Sam, as we push the recruits to their physical and mental limits. As COVID19 has developed and the weeks have gone by, the uncertainty surrounding the possibility of running this event has become more and more apparent. We would like to sincerely apologise for the delay in updating you with this event, however we hope you understand that we have been following the government guidelines and updates very closely and wanted to be patient to see what might be possible when the challenge is due to take place. We can confirm that we will be making an announcement for our SAS Challenge on 1st August at 6pm. If we decide to run the challenge, those who are signed up will receive an information pack on 2nd August. If we are unable to run the challenge due to restrictions and guidelines, we will announce a new date for you all to look forward to. We can assure you that we have so much planned for our recruits and when the times comes, we are ready to take you into the unknown and push you to your limits, with the stunning Cairngorms as your backdrop.
